Sylvia Weed

Sylvia Weed, 96, of Columbus, OH, passed away on April 28, 2023. She was born on September
11, 1926, in Altoona, PA, to the late Boyd and Margaret (Ziegler) Yearick. In addition to her
parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Weed; and her siblings, Mildred
(Guy) Stutzman and Leonard (Virginia) Yearick.
Sylvia will be greatly missed by her three children, seven grandchildren, and eight great-
grandchildren, as well as her extended family and many friends.
A visitation for Sylvia will be held Saturday, May 13, 2023, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Singer-
Kader-Neff Funeral Home, 135 W Main Street, Howard, PA 16841. Burial will take place at
Schencks Cemetery, Howard, PA at 3:30 PM.
