Steven D June

Steven David June, 67, of Beech Creek passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his family on Friday, March 4, 2024.

Born on June 16, 1956, in Williamsport, PA, he was the son of the late William Glossner and Lily (Hammer) Glossner. On May 29, 2021, he married his loving wife, Tami Sayers.

Steven found pleasure in being outdoors and had a passion for camping, hunting and clamming. He also enjoyed going to Benezette to watch the elk and whitetail deer roam. At one time Steven had his own deer farm, P&J Whitetails. But above all, Steven loved to spend time with his family and friends, having cookouts and making memories with all those around him. 

He proudly served his country in the United States Navy where he earned an honorable discharge. He was a member of the Beech Creek American Legion Post 623 and the Monument Church of Christ.

In addition to his wife, Tami, Steven is survived by 3 sons, Scott Andrus (Traci), Toby Kitchen, and Dan McCloskey (Olivia); 2 daughters, Renee Gummo (Todd), and Vickie Duck (Lonnie); two brothers, William Glossner (Brenda) and John Tysarczyk; a sister Teresa Peters (Glen); as well and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Steven was preceded in death by a sister-in-law Susan Tysarczyk.

Family and friends will be received from 10-11AM on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at Singer Kader Neff Funeral Home. Funeral services will immediately follow at 11AM. 

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Steven's name to the American Cancer Society.
