Perry "Mick" McDowell Falls Jr

Perry “Mick” Falls Jr. 49, of Howard passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, August 1, 2023.

Born in Lock Haven, PA on September 23, 1973, Mick was the son of Perry Sr. and Karen (Hevner) Falls. 

Mick touched many lives. He found pleasure in being around people and he made lasting impressions with everyone he had the chance to meet. He was a devoted Penn State Football fan, building quite the collection of memorabilia over the years. During his down time Mick enjoyed listening the Statler Brothers and the Price is right, spending time with his special nurses Sue and Mary, and sitting on the porch waiting for the school bus to drive by and beep as he waved. 

He was a 1995 graduate of Bald Eagle Nittany High School. He was a member of the Skills Adult Day Program where he retired after 20 years of attendance. Mick also attended the Summit Hill Wesleyan Church.

Along with his parents Perry Sr and Karen, Mick is survived by his sister Amber Fetterolf and her husband Lewis; two nephews Davis and Kyle as well as one niece Shelby.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Clair and Mae Falls; maternal grandparents James and Margaret Young; and his uncle Harry McKean who had a very special bond with Mick.

Family and friends will be received for a time of visitation from 6-9pm on Friday, August 4, 2023, at Singer Kader Neff Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 135 W. Main St. Howard, PA 16841. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, August 5, 2023, at 11AM with Pastor Tim Moore officiating.
